ONE final reminder to canine lovers in the area — the Okehampton supporter group for Exeter Leukaemia Fund is holding its fun dog show this weekend.
The show takes place on Saturday July 16 at Burden Farm in Broadbury.
It starts with dog jumping at 11am, entries from 10am.
There are three age classes for people showing their dogs, and the return of the jumping challenge, where fences are raised to 2ft and 3ins. New for this year is the pairs relay, which is hoped to spice up the competition.
At 1pm, the family fun dog show begins, with entries from 11am. Open to all, there are 16 classes with three new ones — best trick, friendliest dog and most unenthusiastic dog.
Each winner will receive a photograph portrait taken by Farlap Photography. These classes will be judged by Bryony Herrod-Taylor, of North Park Vets.
All proceeds raised by the event are going to be donated to ELF.
