On Sunday, September 5, the grounds of Wonford House, Exeter, will come alive with the sounds of Tano Taiko drummers, Stax of Sax and the Trefor Jones sound system.
A guest appearance from Radio Devon?s Douglas Mounce and performances by the Sally Gray School of Dance and Exeter Morris Men will add to the occasion, whetting the appetite for food from the barbecue or a cream tea.
The fun day will run from noon to 4pm and will be free to enter. Hospiscare community fundraiser Joanne Wearne said: ?There will be something for everyone, including children?s games, a bouncy castle, a Crealy pets? enclosure and the chance to climb aboard one of Exeter?s fire engines.?
For those seeking a more restful time there is the opportunity to sample an Indian head massage or a reflexology session in the charity?s complementary therapies tent ? or wander round the display of classic bikes before taking a ride on the vintage bus.
There will be a variety of different stalls and sideshows and the opportunity to support Hospiscare by entering a prize draw with a chance to win an adult?s mountain bike.
