VISITORS, staff and volunteers of Margaret Green Animal Rescue enjoyed a companion dog show recently at its Wingletang Centre in Brentor.
The fun kicked off at 11am with 18 dog show classes to enter, from pedigree classes to novelty classes such as ‘waggiest tail’ and ‘best MGAR rescue’, and a raffle and tombola proved popular.
Every penny raised will go directly back into caring for more than 1,200 animals each year who have been rescued from abuse or neglect, have been abandoned or whose owners can no longer look after them.
Organisers of the event thanked every one who attended the day.
