OKEHAMPTON Friendly Circle held its annual meeting on July 3 in the Charter Hall. Mr Vallance was voted in as the group?s chairman for the coming year, Mrs Jewens as secretary, and Mrs J Williams as treasurer. Three members of the committee resigned, so replacements are currently being sought. The group?s trip to Weymouth leaves Okehampton at 9am on July 24. Anyone wishing to go should contact Mrs Ewens or Mrs Williams.
