Friendly Tavistock Town U15s 7 Woolwell U15s 1 AFTER nearly two months without a game and no fixture on Saturday it was decided that a friendly between the sides would be required before returning to league action. Tavistock played the first half with a number of players either out of position or who had seldom played this season and on the whole the performance was a satisfactory one.  The home side were rarely under pressure and had strikers had their shooting boots on the score could have been much higher than the 1-0 half time score. The solitary goal came from Dan Oner.  The second half was much more convincing from a team resembling that which finished the last league game.  Some excellent attacking play from Davies and Thompson led to goals from Ayres, Doidge (2), Mayne, Alford and Robbins and with the Tavistock goal not threatened until the last minute penalty, the game finished Tavistock 7 Woolwell 1. l This week Tavistock Town U15s entertain Plymstock in the league.
