MANY congratulations on rewarding one of Tavistock's finest fellows, Ted Sherrell, with the first freemanship of the town.

To simply say this honour is well deserved would be an understatement. I remember Ted with affection and respect from my brief periods on the Tavvy Times doing work experience in the mid-nineties. I also miss his witty weekly Plymouth Argyle columns from afar.
