WEST Devon Citizens Advice Bureau is offering free diagnostic training to local organisations.
West Devon organisations have the opportunity to receive training from the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) on debt and money enquiries in order to improve the quality of their services to the general public.
As part of its Big Lottery funded Advice Plus project, West Devon CAB has commissioned a day's training on how to spot debt and money problems, and how to make an informed referral to ensure people get the most appropriate help first time.
Project development officer Mandy Kenyon said: 'Many front-line staff come across people with money problems in their day-to-day work.
'This training session will help those staff to know where the most effective and appropriate help is, and give clients an indication of the level of help they can receive and what sort of things they can do to help themselves.'
The training course will take place at Bridestowe Village Hall on Wednesday, February 24, from 10am to 3pm. Booking for the course is essential. To book, or for more information, contact Mandy Kenyon at [email protected]">[email protected]
