COUSINS from The Rock Inn, Yelverton, took to the skies to perform a 10,000ft tandem skydive to raise money for charity recently.
It was the first time that Sarah Callow and Stephen Langton have performed a skydive, which raised £685 for Mencap.
The jump took place in Dunkeswell, just a short distance from Honiton.
In the past, Sarah has done a bungee jump, but a skydive was always a lifetime ambition.
'It was so exhilarating, just absolutely brilliant!' she said.
They free-fell for 5,000ft, before bursting through the clouds and facing the fantastic view of both coasts of Devon.
They reached a speed of 120mph, before opening their parachutes and landing safely.
The money raised will help provide leisure facilities, support services and family advisors for Mencap.
Further contributions can be made directly at the Rock Inn, to be forwarded to Mencap.
Steven and Sarah appreciate all sponsorship already received from The Rock Inn and The Whitchurch Inn, customers and friends.
