IT was recently stated in this paper that Hatherleigh car parking charges were waived for jubilee week. 

We used the car park on June 2 and there was nothing to say it

was free parking. Consequently, everyone bought a ticket as we were afraid of getting a parking fine. 

How unfair of the council not to make it better known that it was free over the holiday period.
