I WOULD like to write in agreement with Leonard V Hyde (Letter March 24). I have had a free bus pass for a few years now, and do use it, but have always felt that it should have been a concessionary pass.

The extra monies saved could, hopefully, go to saving our rural bus services. These services seem all the more important with the possible loss of bus transport for junior school children.

Yelverton has no school which means all the children have to travel to surrounding villages whether they like it or not.
