FUNDRAISERS who want advice on how to get innovative projects which will benefit environmental, social, economic or cultural life on Dartmoor off the ground are being offered special evening help sessions.
Dartmoor National Park Authority and the Tarka Country Millennium Awards are offering organisations, businesses and individuals an evening of advice on funding opportunities specifically available to people and organisations in West Devon and Dartmoor.
The first session will be on Wednesday, February 5, from 7-9pm at DNPA headquarters, Parke, Bovey Tracey. A second session will be held at the Ockment Community Centre, North Street, Okehampton, on Thursday, March 27, between 7-9pm.
The evening at Okehampton includes West Devon Borough Council as a partner and will be an exhibition style event with a wide range of funders on hand for informal advice.
The event at DNPA headquarters will include a brief presentation followed by a networking opportunity to talk informally with funding advisors.
Everyone is welcome ? and you can just come along on the day ? but the organisers say it would help if those who were interested in coming could contact either: Peter Joyce, Dartmoor sustainable development fund officer; telephone 01626 832093 or e-mail: [email protected]">[email protected] or Carin Cross, Tarka Country Millennium Awards team leader; 01237 472960 or [email protected]">[email protected]
