Plymouth and West Devon intermediate Ordulph Arms 7 Morley Rangers 3 ORDULPH Arms got back on track with a strong performance against a promotion rival. The home side started well and went in front when James Coole's shot was helped in by a tracking Morley defender. Morley then scored against the run of play as Rob Maloney could only divert an inswinging cross into his own net. Morley then hit the bar before the Ordulph began to break through resulting in a superb move allowing Paul Cowling to cross for Ben Stephens to head home. Stephens completed a first half hat-trick with another well taken goal and a penalty after Cole had been brought down. Ordulph welcomed James Phillpotts back in the team after a long absence and along with Danny Brockington the pair ran the midfield. In the second half Paul Cowling added two more for Ordulph with some fine finishing and Stephens added another to his tally with a cool finish. Morley did score twice in the second half but Ordulph defended well for a 15 minute period when under pressure, with captain John, the Maloney brothers and Pedrick all holding firm. l Ordulph Arms FC congratulate their manager Mark Piper on the birth of his second child.
