FOUR candidates are standing for election on Thursday June 21 for the Tavistock North ward seat on West Devon Borough Council.

They are Moira Brown (Labour), Joyce Hillson (Liberal Democrats), Caroline Mary Keane (Independent) and John Sheldon (Conservative). 

The vacancy arose following the resignation of Mike Harper recently. The election will be held at Tavistock Methodist Church Hall from 7am to 10pm.

The last day for registering to vote for this election is Wednesday, June 6, which is also the deadline for receipt of postal vote applications.
