A man was found dead in his flat on Okehampton's Fore Street on Saturday. Police were called to the man's home after neighbours realised that post had been piling up outside the door to the flat for several days. One neighbour said, 'Everyone in the building had noticed that he hadn't been taking in his post, so we tried banging on the door and looking in through the windows. When there was no reply, we called the police.' Okehampton police are trying to trace the man's next of kin. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
