FORMER mayor of Hatherleigh Malcolm Winser has been jailed for three months after a court convicted him of forgery charges.
Mr Winser, 44, of Monks Close, Hatherleigh, admitted two charges of forgery but was convicted of another four at Tavistock Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He was sentenced to three months imprisonment on each charge, to run concurrently.
