AROUND 200 people attended a recent talk given by Camilla Carr and Jon James, who were held hostage in Chechnya for 14 months after going there to set up a centre for traumatised war children.

The talk was held in Tavistock United Reformed Church in conjunction with an exhibition on forgiveness at Tavistock Town Hall last week.

The talk and exhibition were organised by the Tavistock Quakers.
