MORE than 100 young footballers took part in the Tavistock football holiday camps this Easter. The two-week camps are run from Tavistock College for children aged between 5 and 12 years.

The camps have been growing in numbers every school holiday, but at Easter they were bigger than expected. With such growing popularity, parents are advised to book early for the summer half term camps to secure a place for their youngster.

The camps are now in their second year, and were set up in association with Tavistock Community Football Club, Devon Football Association and West Devon Borough Council.

The summer half term football camps are running from May 31 to June 2.
