AS part of the celebrations to mark the 200th anniversary of the construction of the Tavistock Canal, there will be a special Acoustic Cafe event on Saturday August 30, at Morwellham Quay.

The evening will include live folk, blues and jazz from many of the cafe?s regular musicians, good food and a licensed bar.

All are welcome at the Quay from 7pm onwards, and the music starts at 8.30pm. Admission is £3.50.
