RESIDENTS of Bere Alston are invited to a meeting in the parish hall to discuss the results of questionnaires circulated to all households concerning traffic problems in the village.
The questionnaires were sent out following a meeting at the local school in May when it was decided that residents should be asked where they wanted traffic improvements made and the order of priority.
The replies have now been collated by Devon County Council, which has arranged the meeting on Wednesday, July 31 at 7.30pm. Mike Parnell from the county council and county councillor Greta Madigan will be present, and those attending will be able to provide feedback on possible solutions for traffic problems highlighted in the questionnaires and at the previous meeting.
'We don't want to pursue things the community doesn't want us to,' a spokesman for the county council said.
