A COLLECTION of splendid artwork created by Okehampton College students went on display earlier this week as part of a spring art exhibition.
Students in year 7, year 9 and year 10 put on displays of their project art work on Tuesday night, inviting parents, friends and the community to look around and enjoy their artwork.
Year 7 students showed off the work done as part of their biology pond project, while year 9 students put Salvador Dali and his contemporaries to shame with their surrealism project work. The work of year 10 students on display was part of their 'broken instrument' project.
As well as the art, there were musical performances, a drama piece performed by key stage 3 students, and an introduction to Nasfas, a group of people keen to sponsor future art events and exhibitions at the college.
