MEMBERS of Okehampton Camera Club are hoping they won?t be all at sea during their next meeting on Monday November 19. Every year, the club holds competitions with set subjects for members to interpret. Entries for the latest competition, ?Seascapes?, are being judged on Monday by Ian Smith from Launceston Camera Club. Publicity officer Tracey Norman has urged any budding photographers to come along to the meeting. She said: ?We decided to give ?Seascapes? the broadest possible definition to give members scope to be creative. We are very lucky to have some exceptional photographers among our members, so there will be a wide variety of interpretations, which should make for an extremely interesting evening.? The club?s membership is made up of photographers of all ages and abilities who meet every other Monday at 7.30pm at the Conservative Club, Kempley Road, Okehampton. New members are always very welcome.
