IN the Okehampton and district netball league Falcons continuing their winning streak, overcoming Quicksilver 72 ? 33. Unfortunately for Quicksilver the scoreline did not show how much they put into the game. Players of the match went to Tracie Martin for Falcons and Claire Aldich for Quicksilver. Magpies had their first outside game, which helped them keep their cool to take a win over Phoenix 35-9. This game showed Magpies that they are settling down to their new team. Phoenix were unfortunate with the score line as they did play well. POMs: Georgina Geikie, Magpies, and Scarlett Gearing, Phoenix. Speedwells had a slow start to their match against Hot Shots, with the first quarter only having a two goal difference. By the end of the match Speedwells showed that experience is often the best way to win with the scoreline finishing 53 ? 27. POMs: Angela Herrod-Taylor, Speedwells, and Lauren Ausden, Hot Shots. The umpires for the match between Dodgers and FBI said that it was a superb match, with Dodgers winning 36-24. POMs Helena Peters, Dodgers, and Georgie Coulton, FBI. Jesters had a win over Groovy Chicks 21 goals to 12, Groovy Chicks managing to hold on to half score. POMs: Sheridan Walley, Jesters and Leanne Drew, Groovy Chicks. Sugar and Spice had a convincing win over Lifton Ladies 43 ? 24. POMs: Sarah Liversidge-Sugar and Spice and Lisa Baker, Lifton Ladies.
