SPRING will be in the air at Bere Ferrers on March 31, when it hosts its 59th annual Spring Flower Show. Residents from both sides of the Tamar are being encouraged to take the train and travel on the Tamar Valley Line from Gunnislake and Plymouth. Bere Ferrers spring flower show has long been renowned for its daffodil displays and there will be no fewer that 30 classes of this popular flower. This year will also include a new photography class. The event is open from 1.30pm to 5pm in the church hall. Entrance is 50p and children are free.
