A TAVISTOCK business is celebrating after being presented with a Gold Award for Excellence at the Flower Shop of the Year Awards. Randell Cox Floral Design, of West Street, is now through to the final stages of the competition, battling against 23 other shops across the country for four platinum places. From these four finalists, a national winner and runner up will be announced. Amanda Randell said: ?I am stunned and delighted that all our hard work is recognised by our industry.? Randell Cox has even more reason to celebrate ? the business was this month accepted as a Master Florist, a recently-launched directory of the finest florists in the UK. The accolade is only awarded to the very best florists in the country who become part of a unique and exclusive directory service, allowing members of the public to find quality florists quickly and conveniently and order direct. Each Master Florist has to pass a rigorous evaluation process and be approved by an independent panel of industry experts.
