A ROAD closure will be in place for five weeks while work to repair a burst pipe is carried out near Tordown in the Belstone area. The road will be closed to through traffic from Tor Down Cross to the main road to near the church, Rose Cottage and Moorhall, Belstone. The closure will be in place from Thursday, March 10. An alternative route will be in operaion from the junction of the C534 and the U3402 via Tongue End and the junction of the C774 and the U3403 to Tor Down and vice-versa. l A road closure at South Zeal which came into operation this week is exected to be in place for approximately ten days. The stretch of road affected from Ramsley Cross, the Croft Road to Week Cross ? the road from Oakwood to Drybridge ? for PU lining work on 350 metres of cables. There will be an alternative route in operation between Ramsley Cross to Fire Stone Cross to the junction of the U3512 and U3510 to Week Cross and vice-versa.
