THE Tavistock branch of the British Heart Foundation has again organised a five-mile and a ten-mile moor walk, which takes place on Sunday, September 8.

Starting at Pork Hill Car Park at 10am for registration and a 10.30am start, the event will be the 22nd by the Tavistock branch.

Dartmoor guide Simon Dell will again be leading the ten-mile walk.

This event has raised in excess of £21,000 over the years for the British Heart Foundation but the emphasis will be on fun. It is not a race and there will be stops to admire the views and Dartmoor antiquities along the way.

You can either be sponsored or make a donation to the foundation. Sponsor forms, registration slips and tee-shirts are available from the organisers.

Previous participants have been notified of the walks and it is hoped old and new walkers will come along.
