Devon Adult and Community Learning Service is offering a number of apprenticeship schemes for people to come and join their busy and thriving work environment.
Devon ACL provides a range of courses to help residents learn a new skill, to improve their literacy or numeracy skills or to gain a new qualification. It also helps people learn new skills for employability, improve their CV and improve on their existing knowledge.
There are five apprenticeship posts on offer, one in each of a number of the DACL centres across the county, either Tavistock, Bideford, Exmouth, Totnes, or the main office in Exeter.
The positions are offered in the customer service part of DACL and will mean dealing with current and prospective learners in the centres and working as part of a team, a variety of administration and customer service tasks and supporting the administration, data and finance teams in their work.
As part of the role, successful applicants will complete an apprenticeship in customer service which includes NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Customer Services, Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service, and Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (subject to GCSE grades).
