THIEVES broke into the back of a truck parked at Pixon Lane, Tavistock, on Tuesday night and stole four tonnes of fish — while the driver remained asleep in his cab.
The driver, from Hull, delivering cod to the South West, reported that thieves broke the padlock off the back of his refrigerated truck while he slept, and made off with £7,200 worth of prime fillet.
