ALL Okehampton Squash Club teams were in action last week.
The first team, at home to Clifton Hill, saw Phil Allin filling in and just losing 3-2. Andy Glossop won 3-1 as did Steve Yeo and both Donald Rooke and Martin Leyton defeated their opponents easily by 3-0 for an excellent 19 points to 4 victory.
The second team, at home to Tiverton, won three matches to two. Nigel Padfield in his first team match played well but could not quite get the performance he wanted.
Phil Allin in his second match of the week this time won 3-2, Ben Jones Lost 3-1 but both Robert Barkwell and Ian Pitts won 3-2, giving a well deserved 14 points to 11 win.
The ladies? team, away to Newton Abbot, lost a couple of their regular players and were defeated by stronger opponents.
