THE DCPGA held the first of the Winter Medals last Thursday (October 7) at Exeter Golf and Country Club with the home professional Gary Milne, recording his first win in his first event for the DCPGA. He shared first place with former Exeter amateur Chris Gill on two under par 67. Ashley Moon (Okehampton) was joint third with 68.
The standard of the professionals in Devon is rising all the time with the top seven places filled with under par scores. The top sixteen from the order of merit compete at the end of March for the DCPGA Matchplay Championship.
