A JOURNALIST from Palestine will be speaking at Calstock Village Hall this Saturday (March 28) about the humanitarian process in Gaza.
Samah Habeeb, 23, has reported for a range of international media outlets, including the BBC, Al Jazeera and CNN. As well as a photojournalist he is also a Palestine peace activist.
The visit to Calstock is part of a speaking tour across the UK and Mr Habeeb will be giving his first-hand account of what has and is still happening in Gaza. He will be showing his photos and sharing witness accounts and giving his personal experiences of Gaza.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, are £2.50 and all profits will go to MAP (Medical Aid for Palestine.) They are available at Calstock Post Office or on the door.
