A VILLAGE community has benefitted from the kindness and generosity of two firms after they were given an oil tank for their village hall.
Stenlakes Water Waste and Sewage Solutions, based in Launceston, with support from Scottish-based oil tank manufacturer Balmoral Tanks, recently delivered the oil tank to the village.
Stewart Carr, stock controller at Stenlakes, said: 'We thought this would be a nice idea to help out the local community, and luckily we had a tank in stock. Even though the village is a fair distance from us, we've got a few customers in Sheepwash, and in fact one of them was there waiting to greet us when we delivered the tank.
Andrew Vincent from Sheepwash said: 'This is a really great thing for the village to have, and the generosity of the companies is overwhelming.'
