ORGANISERS are keeping their fingers crossed for good weather tomorrow (Friday), for the Lamerton fireworks display, being held in the village playing field.

The event has been jointly organised by the village hall committee, St Peter's Church PCC and Lamerton School Association. Entry is £3 per adult and £1 for children under 12.

The diplay starts at 6pm and should last about half an hour, there will be a barbecue and licensed bar as well as tented cover for spectators. For more information ring 01822 615464 or 614178.
