FIRE crews were called on for assistance by the ambulance service following a collision between a motorcycle and a van in on the A390 near Tavistock on Sunday. Two crews from Tavistock attended the incident where they found one casualty trapped. They worked with the ambulance service to release the casualty using hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools. The casualty was released and left in the care of ambulance personnel.
