OKEHAMPTON firefighters were called out to a dustcart fire at Oaklands Drive at midday last Thursday .
An electrical fault resulted in a fire underneath the cart which a fire appliance had to be called out to fully extinguish.
Firefighters were also called to a vehicle fire which occurred at Sourton Cross last Friday at 6pm.
The driver of the vehicle pulled over when he detected a problem and the fire caused only minor damage to the vehicle.
