FIREFIGHTERS were called to Lewdown on Friday (July 25) after a report of farm equipment on fire. Two crews and a 4x4 vehicle attended just before 6.15pm and found a tractor and one round baler on fire. The crews used two hose reel jets, breathing apparatus and one compressed air foam lance to extinguish the blaze. The cause was believed to be accidental.
