TWO fire appliances from Yelverton and Crownhill were mobilised to near the roundabout in Yelverton following a road traffic collision at 12.08pm today (August 25).

Upon arrival crews confirmed a two vehicle collision with one person trapped by injuries. Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the door of one vehicle to enable ambulance crews to gain access to the casualty. Crews made the vehicles and scene safe.
