I FEEL we are very lucky in Tavistock to have a Post Office and Spar shop with free parking. Before the parking company took over the running of this private car park people were parking not using the facilities and leaving their vehicles there all day long. As this is a very busy shop customers could not park but now we can drive into the car park use the post office with ease. I feel if people abuse this and go off into town, whether it is one shop or six, they only have themselves to blame so take a fine as a warning. I am sure the owner does not get the money from the fines. Jan Coley Tavistock
