TWO teams of Okehampton U7s travelled to Ivybridge to play in the annual rugby festival. The first match Oke A beat Saltash B 6-0. Tries were scored by Josh Parsons, Daniel Turney (2), Daniel Tomkins, Will Cunningham and Henry McMullen. In the second match Oke A were unlucky to lose to Paignton 2-3, with tries from Cole Pengelly and Daniel Turney and good passing by Charlie Glanville. The third match saw Exmouth beat Oke A 4-1 with the try scored by Cole Pengelly and good runs by Liam Osman and Tom Michie. In the final match Oke A lost to Salcombe 2-3, with tries from Daniel Turney and Cole Pengelly. Oke B played Topsham B in the first match and won 6-1. Try scorers were Imogen Ogbourne, Will Risdon, Kai Middleton, Maddie Arden and Joshua Burgoyne (2). Oke B drew the second match to South Molton 2-2 with tries from Will Risdon and Joshua Burgoyne. There was some good tagging by Ben Wharton. In the third match Brixham beat Oke B 4-1 with Joshua Burgoyne scoring the try. Oke B next played Barnstaple and drew 3-3. Try scorers were Imogen Ogbourne and William Risdon (2). James Close and Joel Barratt played well in this match. In the last match Oke A beat Newton Abbot 5-4. Try scorers were Imogen Ogbourne, William Risdon, Kai Middleton, Maddie Arden and James Stephens.
