THE Post Office in Bridestowe is just one of those in West Devon which could face closure under a national shake-up plan. Nationally, up to 2,500 post offices may be lost if Government proposals are accepted. Post Officer proprietor Naomi Nardi said Bridestowe would be 'devasted' if her branch was to close. Residents in the borough are being asked to fight proposals to close eleven branches across West Devon.
