ALBASTON?S 20th anniversary fete will open this Saturday with a feast of family fun including an arts and crafts display, a vintage rally and a display of children?s country dancing.
The theme of this year?s fete is ?Cornwall? and visitors are invited to come in the wildest Cornish fancy dress their imagination can afford.
There will be an exemption dog show held in Delaware Road Industrial Estate, side shows and children?s races.
Musical entertainment is from the Rubber Band, Callington College?s Jazz Band and a string band.
The fete?s grand finale will be performed by a cast of more than 100 artistes from the Orchard Studios at Gunnislake.
Over the past 20 years the fete has raised more than £30,000 for local charities and organisers hope to keep up the good work this year ? the fun starts at 2 pm on the Millennium Green this Saturday, June 19.
