THERE?s a chance to buy some early festive presents this weekend, when Buckland Abbey near Yelverton hosts its popular Christmas Craft Fair.
The event features many of the finest craftsmen and women from the area, who will be exhibiting and selling their work in the abbey?s small barn and brass rubbing centre.
Ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, leather goods and pottery are just some of the high quality items which will be available.
Arthur Bradley of Minster Glass will be exhibiting articles of stained glass ? there will also be a selection of home-made Christmas puddings and cakes by Eliza Jane, plus soaps and pot pourri from Susie Q. To accompany the shopping experience, Paul Hill will be playing guitar.
Entrance to the fair, which is on Saturday and Sunday between 10.30am and 5pm, is free.
