CHAGFORD shows its Christmas spirit this month with two big events.

Late night Christmas shopping comes to Chagford on Tuesday, December 11, offering shoppers the chance to pick up a bargain.

From 5.30pm to 8.30pm, they can browse the town's mix of independent shops, arts and craft galleries and delicatessens, and enjoy mulled wine, mince-pies and traditional entertainment.

The Christmas lights and festive atmosphere promises a warm welcome for all visitors.

On December 15 and December 16, the Wonderworks Arts and Craft Fair returns to the Jubilee Hall.

The exciting event has developed a reputation as a craft fair well worth visiting, with woodwork, glass, leather, jewellery, ceramics and more.

The fair runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, December 15, and 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday, December 16.
