THE members of Buckland Cricket Club would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who organised, supported or attended Crapfest at the Lady Seaton Sports Field last week.
The brainchild of a few ladies associated with the club, this new venture proved to be a great success and, not only raised over £2,300 towards the new pavilion fund, but also provided a great night out for the local community. Many people went out of their way to help and support the event, but without the specific generous help of Brandon Tool Hire (Tavistock), DR Jones Builders, MG Scaffolding and Concise builders the event simply would not have happened.
It is very rewarding to have made such a good contribution to the new pavilion fund, but more than that we have been particularly warmed by how much goodwill and support there is around our community. Thank you.
