FOLLOWING the success of this year's Hatherleigh Festival, the organising committee is recruiting new members to become part of the 2012 event.

The 2011 event had a varied programme, from workshops and play events for children to music in Hatherleigh Square and tribute band the Take That Experience in the community centre.

The committee is looking at ways to top the 2011 festival, and will welcome anyone who wishes to help organise things.

If you are interested, the committee is holding its annual meeting in Hatherleigh Community Centre on Thursday September 15 at 8pm.

Anyone from the area is welcome to attend.
