A 26 year-old man from the Halwill area has died, following a road accident last Thursday on the A3079 near Beaworthy.

The collision, involving one vehicle, took place at around 4.10pm three miles north of Halwill. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A full investigation is underway and and police are appealing for witnesses that they have not already spoken to. Anyone who can help should telephone 101, quoting log 618 22/11/12.
