AN Okehampton motorcyclist has died following a road accident on Monday. He has been named as Adrian Mitchell, who was 46-years-old.
The accident occurred at 4.44pm on the B3260 junction with the A30 slip road at Stockley.
It involved two vehicles, a green Fiat Punto and a Yamaha motorcycle being ridden by Mr Mitchell, who died at the scene.
The occupants of the car received minor injuries.
Ambulance and police attended the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the investigating officer MPC Ken Bickell at Launceston Traffic Unit on 08705 777444, quoting log ref no: 926/25/08. Diversions were in operation for several hours following the accident.
