Bude 1
Tavistock 1
AT Bude it was the visitors who were in control from the start and worked hard to create space on the pitch.
Dale Wood had a solid game for Tavistock by setting the bar from the start with superb tackling to keep the Bude stickers at bay.
A great pass from Tavistock's Rory Carr led to Josh Cowen going on a skilful run up the right side of the pitch, who crossed the ball into Luke Daniels who placed the ball against the back board after eight minutes.
It was a fast paced match on both ends of the pitch with Bude winning many short corners but only able to be rewarded with one goal. The home side put in a strong performance with great saves from Tavistock keeper Paul Mingo and slick passing from Phil Edwards and captain Paul Merchant to keep the tempo of the game up.
