EXTRACTS from a fascinating exhibition at the Museum of Dartmoor Life were on show last weekend at a special coffee morning.

The museum's new exhibition looks at life in Okehampton during the two years that Great Britain has previously hosted the Olympic Games, 1908 and 1948.

Panels from the exhibition, 'The People's Record', were on display in the Church Hall on Market Street last Saturday. Visitors had the chance to learn about the history of the town and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The People's Record exhibition will be on view at the museum from Monday July 23 to Thursday August 30, and the museum also has a special exhibition created in conjunction with Puzzle Tree lined up for July.
