PARISHIONERS, friends and colleagues met at Sourton Church to bid farewell to the Rev David Webber (above), priest-in-charge of Bridestowe and Sourton.
Mr Webber, with his wife, Jane, was presented with garden tokens, cards and flowers from the two parishes. A painting of St Thomas A Beckett, Sourton, and an embroidered picture of St Bridget?s Church, Bridestowe, were also presented.
A buffet was enjoyed and music was provided by Brian Higbee on his guitar.
Mr and Mrs Webber will continue to live in Exeter.
